Smokers Are Assholes
No honest I'm not one of those "anti-smoking in public places" idiots so shut the hell up.
I am a smoker so before you start making all sorts of idiotic comments about how smoking is a right and all of that BS, first try reading this. I enjoy smoking and I've done it for quite a long time now. But as I get older I begin to wonder why in hell I continue to kill myself slowly in such a moronic and meaningless way. Like most people (I imagine) I started smoking when I was quite young and not because I had decided to do it but because my friends were doing it. I know that sounds like a lame excuse to say that it was my friends fault but seriously, if it weren't for them, I would probably not be a smoker today.
Why exactly does the United States government allow cigarettes to continue to be sold to the people of this nation? Granted I know we are a free society and we have the right to choose what we do and how we do it BUT, when the FDA and other agencies have said that smoking is a MAJOR factor in cancer cases and other health problems, don't you feel that cigarettes should be treated like other substances that are banned from this country? Seriously here, think about all of the products that are not allowed because they can cause health risks. There are billions of them that the FDA has banned from this country and some of them (such as ephedra) have not caused even remotely as many deaths as cigarettes have. There is absolutely no denying this fact and if you think I'm wrong, you must be a hillbilly idiot from some hick state somewhere in the mountains or you work for the tobacco industry.
So, I'm sure that some of you already know where this post is heading haha. Guess what? You're right! The idiot government of this stupid nation is the reason why we still have cancer causing tobacco that's allowed for all of us to consume. Why? It is because the government is tied directly to the tobacco industry just as they are directly tied to the alcohol industry. They profit from our loss and that is another fact. The health care industry is also directly linked to tobacco and alcohol sales because they want us to get sick so they can make money treating us for years and then letting us die. It is sick yet true. The government banned marijuana because the oil companies knew that hemp products could be made into a cheap and effective fuel for our cars and of course, they couldn't allow that to happen. These are just some examples and I'm sure that nearly every industry is in some way tied to the government because of course these days, the government is not about the people, it's about PROFITS!
I know I've gone off subject a little so I will get back to smoking once again. Do any of you other smokers feel as stupid as I do for allowing the tobacco industry (and the government) to kill us slowly with their addictive drug? Do you feel in any way moronic for knowing that you will have to pay for your hospital treatment when you find out that you have lung cancer from the addictive material that has been marketed to us since the day we were born? Well, I know for a fact that I debate with these issues in my mind all the time yet here I am still smoking cause of the addictive nature of what the tobacco industry says is no more addictive than gummy bears.
Luckily many people have seen the light and have stopped smoking. I have also decided that I am going to quit smoking not only because of the health risks involved but more for the fact that I just can't live with myself knowing that I'm putting money in some rich assholes pocket while he giggles at me knowing that not only am I giving him my money but I am also being murdered legally by him. Can't get much better than that, take my money then murder me so I can't sue you for it.
I think it's time for all of us to quit smoking so we can live healthier and not give these stupid bastards our money anymore. Hopefully some of you will join me and we can all quit together. So, I say that next week Monday should be the day we all quit. Ok, I'm sure most of you assholes won't join me but for anyone who wants to, smoke yourself silly until Monday cause that is the day we get rid of a bad habit and save our asses some money too.
