Car Salesmen (and women) Are Assholes
Geeze.....
Please understand that this post is about All salespeople and not just car salesmen. I wouldnt want to be accused of leaving any sales people out of this haha. But, for this post, I will rant and rave about idiot asshole car salesmen.
Ever notice how when you go to a car lot to look at a car the sales people come running out to you so they can "help" you? Well, this seems to be a universal manuever that these assholes use. I would really love it if they would just stay in their little holes until I want to speak to them. It annoys me to have some dumb ass breathing down my neck when all I want to do is look at what they have available.
I must admit, this post is personal. I went to my local Chevy dealer and told the bastard what I wanted and that I did NOT want a vehicle that had ever been in any type of accident. I found one that I liked and was pretty happy with it and, was nearly ready to buy the sucker. I told the guy over and over again that I would need to see a vehicle history report which he said was no problem. Well, when I first talked to this salesman(asshole), he told me that he didnt know if the vehicle had ever been in an accident and that there are three levels of accidents that the insurance companies use to describe them. This alone made me leary because I kept asking myself why would this bastard say that? Well, my instinct was correct. I went there this morning to "close the deal" and the first thing I asked the bone headed bitch bag was, "what did the history report show?". He looked at me with a red face and said, "oh, it shows one incident here but it seems minor". Umm, yeah ok, what does it say? Well, it said that the vehicle had been in a head on collision in 2005 and had moderate front end damage. That alone was a deal breaker DUH and if the dumb ass would have just shut up, it would have been ok. But this douche bag, trying to save a sale, began telling me that "moderate damage" was probably just broken glass. This dumb prick was trying to pull one over on me and well, I wasnt buying the bullshit. It gets better. As I was looking over the vehicle report, I happened to look at the date on the paper. The history report wasnt new, it was done three months prior. So, for the not so smart humans(assholes) out there, this idiot knew about the accident three months ago when he did this vehicle history report. He wasted my time even when he already knew I wouldnt be interested. I wont tell you what I told him here as the words would be quite vulgar and I'm a nice man so I wont put you through that today.
I am in sales and let me tell you something right now, In sales, sales people will do almost anything to get your money and they dont care about what YOU get. They only care about what THEY get and usually, that means your cash. Now, I do my best to be honest because I want repeat business and the only way to get that repeat business is to treat people RIGHT! Now, this asshole salesman at the Chevy dealer was just a piece of trash. He lied about the vehicle and even worse, he continued to try and sell me the vehicle by telling me that it wasnt a big deal that it was wrecked.
As I've said before, dont just think that its car dealers that are assholes. ALL sales people are assholes, and more important, ALL humans are assholes. Even non-salespeople have this mindset. Its always what THEY get and they dont care about what YOU want. Humans suck.
